ÉRMA ENSEMBLEÉRMA ENSEMBLEKatja is a trumpet player, currently based in Helsinki. She has been working in several professional orchestras in Finland and was part of the apprenticeship programme of Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and Finnish National Opera in the season 2022/23. She was studying with Pasi Pirinen at the Sibelius Academy and graduated in 2023 with a Master Degree. Before moving to Helsinki, she completed a Bachelor of Music as well as a Bachelor of Music Education at the HfMT Köln. Katja has a broad interest in classical music, from playing the baroque trumpet to contemporary music and exploring new sounds on her instrument.
